This Privacy Policy explains how Statnify (the “Application Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, secures, and discloses information through the Statnify website, early access program, and planned connected-shop reporting service.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
We may collect your name, email address, support messages, early access requests, and other information you choose to provide.
Authorized Etsy account information
If Etsy connectivity is approved and you choose to connect your shop, we may receive an OAuth access token and the minimum data needed for the reports you select. Depending on the approved scopes, this may include your shop details, your own listing records, orders, receipts, transactions, payments, fees, taxes, and related identifiers made available to your account through the Etsy API.
Technical information
We may collect basic technical and usage information such as browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, approximate region, timestamps, security events, and diagnostic information. We may use essential cookies or similar technologies to operate and protect the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate Statnify, authenticate authorized connections, generate read-only reports requested by the connected seller, provide support, communicate service updates, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and comply with applicable legal and contractual obligations.
3. Etsy data-use limits
The initial version of Statnify is limited to direct reporting from the connecting seller's own authorized account. We do not use Etsy content or Etsy Member data to train, fine-tune, test, evaluate, or operate artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. We do not scrape Etsy, estimate sales for third-party shops, create marketplace-wide competitor datasets, license Etsy data, or use Etsy data for unrelated advertising or marketing.
4. OAuth, permissions, and seller control
Statnify will not ask for or store your Etsy password. Supported connections will use Etsy's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. We plan to request only the minimum read scopes needed for the reports you choose, such as shop, listing, and transaction read access. The initial version will not request Etsy write scopes. You may deny authorization or revoke access through Etsy. When disconnection functionality is available, you may also request disconnection and deletion through Statnify.
5. Data freshness, caching, and retention
We design the service to refresh and cache Etsy content in accordance with Etsy's API requirements. Listing content will not be displayed when it is more than six hours older than the corresponding Etsy content, and other Etsy content will not be displayed when it is more than twenty-four hours older. We will not cache or store Etsy content longer than reasonably necessary to provide the requested service. OAuth tokens and connected data will be deleted or rendered unusable when no longer required, when access is revoked, or when deletion is validly requested, subject to limited legal, security, and backup obligations.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information or connected shop data. We may disclose information to carefully selected service providers that host, secure, maintain, or support Statnify, only to the extent necessary for those services and under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. No advertising-platform transfer
We do not transfer Etsy API data, Etsy Member data, OAuth credentials, or connected shop records to third-party advertising or marketing platforms.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, credential separation, monitoring, and least-privilege practices. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If Etsy Member data is compromised or reasonably suspected to be compromised, we will follow applicable notification obligations, including notifying Etsy and affected sellers as required.
9. Legal bases
Where applicable, we process personal information based on your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in securely operating and improving the service, and compliance with legal obligations.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, withdraw consent, or request data portability. You may unsubscribe from product communications at any time. You may also revoke Etsy authorization through Etsy.
11. International transfers
Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
12. Children
Statnify is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, approved application purpose, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting connected data will be communicated where appropriate.
